Pressle was a 54 hour project done at Start-up Weekend Sheffield. We came 1st out of 8 teams.
The challenge was to pitch an idea, and convince people to help you validate that idea during the weekend. I pitched an idea for real world buttons that people press to answer specific questions about their experience of a venue. We came up with a pitch for local venues and went out to talk to them. Most weren't interested but talking to museums and art galleries got them really excited to use this kind of data to improve their experience.
I designed and developed a dashboard for analysing this data in real-time. We were judged by 3 local business experts to be the most viable. We also got letters of intent from 3 venues. Later on I bought an IoT button and hooked it up to the dashboard to show it working.
